Valentino table lamp by Metalarte Barcelona, 1980s

Bauhaus table lamp, originally designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld and Carl Jacob Jucker in 1924, but was re-released in 1976s by Metalarte, Spain, model name 'Valentino'.
The lamp has a thick glass base and a rounded opal white glass shade that rests on a chrome ring. The connecting rod is clear methacrylate (plastic). The maker's sticker is still present. Due to the thick glass the lamp is quite heavy, but no less elegant for it and provides a minimal, striking aesthetic!

Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use - mainly some scratches on the glass.
