My name is Michiel Heuvelman and being born in Barcelona (BCN) and now rooted in Eindhoven (040), my passion for design spans the unique styles of the Netherlands, Spain and beyond.
After two decades of collecting and studying design furniture and architecture, I've decided to share my passion by composing a collection of vintage design furniture in our BCN40 Gallery in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
In my pursuit of design pieces, I select based on craftsmanship, originality, and/or a touch of flair and coolness.
I am fortunate and grateful to have the support of my girlfriend Michelle for advice and help, Suzanne for photography and Victor for heavy lifting and companionship during my travels in search of new treasures all over Europe.
To ensure authenticity, we cooperate directly with original producers, preserving the essence of each piece with minimal alterations, prioritizing its originality over mere functionality.
However, we're more than willing to assist in re-upholstering, restoration, and updating of electrical components upon request.
