This lamp was designed by André Ricard for Metalarte in 1970's. The structure has a tubular chrome frame where a white opaline plastic ball swivels. The plastic ball is divided in two, one has a opaque interior, which gives an effect that one part has light and the other doesn't. It can be also hanged in the wall, and be used as a wall lamp. Makers mark in the black plastic in the arms.
It is in original and good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use. It does miss some screws however which is reflected in the price.
